MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The FAT Coordinator (Integration) is
responsible for ensuring that FATs are scheduled
appropriately and performed to the schedule.
Ensure that all involved personnel are
notified of the test schedule and any deviations from the schedule. Ensure that
the tests are fully attended by the required personnel, including any from
regulatory authorities and other involved companies.
Ensure that the test results have been
obtained, and appropriately recorded in accordance with the test specification.
Ensure the test results are stored and distributed to the specified recipients.
Check with all necessary personnel whether
the FAT test results are acceptable; (coordinators must not evaluate test
results themselves).
Manage any necessary retests and the
associated schedule.
FAT coordinator will work to resolve all FAT
related problems and issues.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Provide leadership and ensuring that the FAT
efforts and progress is aligned with the integration plans and procedures.
Identify upcoming potential challenges to
the FAT schedule through the identification of advances and or delays.
Record reasons for any changes and notify
all parties concerned and provide resolution to rectify.
Identify and negotiate solutions to schedule
challenges pro-actively.
Ensure that progress is documented and
recorded accurately in the SCDB.
Identify and meet with all relevant parties
that might have an influence upon FAT progress and success with the objective
of preventing problems or if necessary mitigating the impact of any problems.
Seek out and identify potential
opportunities to advance the project and also minimize workloads when possible
ensuring no missed opportunities to advance and improve FAT progress.
Be the single point contact for information
and guidance when conflict arises pertaining to the FAT.
Identify human and equipment resource
requirements and any changes to those requirements necessary for optimizing FAT
activities.
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
An Engineering Degree or Equivalent with
5-10 Years FAT with large equipment manufacturers or EPC contractors.
Must be a highly motivated team player with
a safety first attitude, organized and forward thinking experience with the end
in mind.
Experience in interface and integration
between different parties, cultures and entities.
Experienced in FAT.
Experience with construction and Fabrication
activities is beneficial.
Knowledge of Off-Shore and production
systems is essential and offshore work
experience is highly desirable.
High safety awareness is mandatory
Computer literate and able to use the System
Completion database.
Ability to use Computerized Maintenance
Management Systems (CMMS) would be an advantage.
