MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Responsible to Completion Manager for the aiding in definition of systems boundary, ensure timely and validated data input to Systems Completions database (SCDB). He is required to identify client’s IT resources, rules and procedures and document placement in the beginning of the project. Identify client’s document control resources, procedures and policies. Develop project deliverables and system development throughout the project. Integrate WP systems with the client’s legacy platforms and systems. Collect, manage and disseminate information back and forth between the project staff.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Provide guidance to EPC contractors, and approve system boundary documents and drawings.
Monitor and coordinate administration of project’s SCDB; working closely with EPC Contractor, Subcontractors and Engineering to ensure adherence to approved boundary documents. Monitor secure interface between SCDB and engineering data bases.
Interface with EPC Contractors Engineering to ensure engineering data transfer to SCDB is validated and that any deviation between data bases is corrected in an organized manner without delay.
Interface with EPC Contractors Engineering to ensure engineering data is updated in accordance with latest revision updates of key documents, i.e., cable schedules, instrument index, line list, etc.
Assist with system development of SCDB.
Aid in monitoring the development, population and maintenance of the Completions Management System (CMS) data base (SCDB) and review current/correct data from engineering and that tags are correctly tied/linked to each subsystem.
Co-ordinate validation of engineering downloads to system/sub system splits.
Maintain system and information in accordance with project progress.
Ensure timely input of data into SCDB is maintained
Participate in the development of the commissioning logic and schedules for all work scope associated with commissioning the topside, living quarters for each location (on fabrication yards, integration site and offshore).
When applicable, provide support to the start-up team.
Complete full interface with client’s document management platforms.
Ensures all he input to the Turnover Documentation test packages are produced from the SCDB and completed satisfactorily and punch lists are generated thoroughly and completely.
Ensure all the preservation data is populated in the SCDB and is available for review.
Produce periodic reports from the SCDB for the review by commissioning management.
An engineering degree with 8-10 years, oil and gas field experience in Operations/Maintenance/construction and/or systems completion.
Hands on experience on Project Completions System SCDB or similar Systems Completion electronic database management system. Familiar with the Project scheduling including Planning system Primavera.
Must possess Database experience (Access and SQL)
Knowledge of computerized automated data management systems
Experience in project scheduling and knowledge of scheduling application programs will be an added advantage.
Experience with Microsoft Suites.
Knowledge of offshore oil and Gas installations and offshore work experience required.
