Description

Provide technical support, clarification and interpretation of task, code and standards requirements for all discipline design and drafting activities.

Reviews assigned projects discipline deliverables for technical quality, accuracy and compliance with Company standards.

Monitors assigned projects discipline manpower requirements to support established budgets and schedule.

Assure that all assigned discipline personnel are indoctrinated and current with Company, department, discipline, and project standards and procedures.

Review and approve assigned project discipline work scopes, work approaches, and estimates.

Review and approve submitted discipline Work Share Packages for assigned projects.

Requirements

Senior Structural Designers, very well versed in PDMS, 10+ years in the offshore industry with at least 5 years in the PDMS environment

Should be able to model primary, secondary and tertiary steel, including intricate connections, tubular joints, equipment supports

Familiarity with American and International steel sections

 Ability to work with other PDMS disciplines to resolve conflicts in tight spaces
