Description
Technical position developing and
implementing information and data collaboration applications on major
engineering projects.
Duties include working with project information management specialists
to develop, rollout, and support project information and data collaboration
applications and tools.
Enforce information systems policies and procedures to maintain
integrity and security of project information and assets.
Ensure compliance with corporate standards, including change management
processes and procedures to manage system changes and to properly communicate
changes to project management. Integrates activities with
other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project
efforts.

For existing applications, gather user
feedback, coordinated with users and management to determine requirements,
ensure that application improvements are successfully implemented and monitored
to increase efficiency.
Play an active part in new application
developments when assigned, contribute and influence direction for application
and assure applications and support structures are at levels needed, taking
into account emerging technology, corporate IT direction and business unit
strategies.
Provide general user support for Corporate
Applications. Assist in monitoring project schedules, costs, and planned
changes to minimize impact; ensure risks are identified and communicated.
Develop and implement appropriate controls
for application, system and processes to maintain them in good operational
shape and to provide timely fix when issues do occur.
Train and assist users where applications
deployment is required.
Completes other responsibilities associated
with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
3-5+ years of relevant experience. Very strong organizational skills and
technical skills are required. Strong analysis and problem solving skills
required. The following additional qualifications are necessary:
Preferred Programming Languages: C#, C++,
Visual Basic.Net, Visual Basic, HTML, Java, VBScript
Databases: SQL Server, MS Access, Oracle
Tools: ASP.Net, ADO.Net, XML ADO.Net

Candidates must possess a minimum of five
(3) years of experience as an Application Developer in a global environment.
Highly effective communication and collaborative interface skills, with
demonstrated competency in building sound working relationships.
